Smart Tenders at the City of Sydney - 20 January 2010

The City of Sydney has tendered the management of its aquatic and leisure facilities including the Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre, Cook + Phillip Park Aquatic & Fitness Centre and the Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool. The tender describes these facilities as being "significant assets within the City’s social and leisure infrastructure" and that they "play an important role in providing a range of programs and services in active leisure." Smart Connection Company worked closely with the City in developing the tender specifications document and process to ensure the nbest possible outcomes for the community. The tenderer will be required to deliver a range of programs and services in line with the specification to meet the requirements of the City, its residents and the surrounding community. Tenderers are required to demonstrate their capacity, financial and technical capability in the provision of these services, their experience and their commitment to environmentally sound principles.
