UPDATE ON GOVERNMENT FUNDING
Federal and State Government have invested more than $100milion in upskilling the Australian workforce. In Victoria the programme is called Securing Jobs for Your Future, in other states it is Productivity Places Programme (PPP), but the outcome is the same: the opportunity to gain funding that covers 90% or more of the cost of a training course or qualification.
Perhaps the most difficult aspect of the initiative revolves around understanding the eligibility criteria for this funding.
